Shadowridge Systems LLC builds custom software, modernizes existing applications, and helps recover projects that are struggling to make it successfully into production.
Our work spans backend systems, APIs, business applications, application modernization, AI integration, production engineering, and application rescue — including AI-built and AI-assisted software that needs stronger architecture, better scalability, improved reliability, or a safer approach to data handling.
We believe AI is a powerful engineering tool, but not every problem should depend on a model. Where deterministic software is simpler, safer, faster, or easier to operate, we use it. Where inference provides real value, we can design local, private, or carefully controlled AI integrations.
That same philosophy extends to data and infrastructure. We prefer systems that keep operators in control, minimize unnecessary third-party dependencies, and avoid sending sensitive information somewhere else simply because a platform makes it convenient.
Shadowfix™ is our Windows privacy product and one example of that approach in practice: predictable behavior, user control, and software designed to serve the person running it rather than treat them as a source of data.

How we approach software
